every time i get corrected by a starbucks employee, it happens the same way

“hi can i have a small strawberry frappuccino?”

“um you mean tall right?”

*resists urge to reach over counter and stab in throat with unbelievably sturdy frappuccino straw*

I’ve actually never had a Starbucks employee try to correct me before which is great because if you’re communicating in a way that’s mutually understood then there’s really no need for it

matt and i were talking about this yesterday, it’s never happened to either of us

it may be because canada’s coffee scene isn’t even nearly ruled by starbucks so they don’t feel entitled to make you conform to their dumb sizing standards

I live in america and they’ve never corrected me

but I have ordered starbucks literally five times in the past five years
